Felipe Aguila was born in Santiago de Chile in 1977. Lives and works in Turin, Italy. Study at the University of Chile, School of Visual Arts degree in 1998, majoring in painting. In 1999 he obtained a grant from FONDART, National Endowment for the Arts. In 2000 won a scholarship that allowed him to enroll Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti di Torino, frequenting the painting course until 2004, a period which began working on their first video installations.
