He graduated in the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in 1991. He is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC, for its Spanish acronym) and the International Association of Plastic Artists (AIAP). In Cuba, his work has been exhibited in the art galleries Servando Cabrera, Villa Manuela, Havana, La Casona, 23 y 12, among others. His work has also been present in centers, museums and galleries like: Brande Art Oy, Helsinki (Finland); Marlborough Chelsea, New York (USA); Center for Cuban Studies, New York (USA); UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (France); Square One Gallery, London (England); Espacio 304 Gallery and Museo de las Américas in San Juan (Puerto Rico); ONU Headquarters, Geneva (Switzerland); Berghein Gallery (Panama); Nuno Sacramento Gallery (Portugal); Buenos Aires Museum of Fine Arts, La Plata (Argentina); Museum of Modern Art of Bogota (Colombia); Chelsea Gallery, Kingston (Jamaica). He has participated in fairs such as the International Contemporary Art Fair (ARCO, for its Spanish acronym) in Madrid, Art Moscow, JustMad, ArteLisboa, Lima Photo, Houston Fine Art Fair, ArtBo, etc.
